Tell me about yourself:

My name is Deven Brodersen,also known as CraZeekidtattoo. I own a tattoo studio located in downtown Los Angeles called Arc Studios. I specialize in fine line tattooing as well as illustrative black work. 

How long have you been tattooing for?

I’ve been professionally tattooing for 4 years. 

What made you want to become a tattoo artist?

I’ve always done art. I started being obsessed with graffiti first. At a young age I got in trouble for drawing on literally everything. My moms covered in tattoos, growing up in Southern California that’s all I was around.

Why did you decide to customize the shoes the way you did?

Honestly I went with the flow. I didn’t plan much. I’ve been doing a lot of single needle mystical designs as well as darker themed work. I went with a positive/ negative look to it. 

How was working on this project for you?

It was amazing... I got the chance to do it with the love of my life. So it made it that much better. 

Are you currently working on any other projects?

Currently I’m working on my shop I just opened. Also just working on some personal merch as well as collaborating with other companies for some clothing designs. 

How long have you been an artist for?

For as long as I could remember.

What’s your favorite tattoo that you have & why?

I would definitely say micro portrait of my grandfather I got done at a studio called prolific I used to work for. It was done by Jimmy Castro @jims_ink. It was just a cool process because he did it right before I did my first micro portrait  to kind of show me the ropes. Also my grandfather was someone I looked up to more than anything. 

How were you keeping busy during quarantine?

I open my studio during quarantine. Honestly opening that and doing a bunch of art kept me busy.

Tell me about yourself:

My name is Lindsey Weber and I’m from Texas. I am a cosmetic tattoo artist as well as fine line tattooer. 

How long have you been tattooing for?

I’ve been professionally tattooing for a year now. I’ve been doing eyebrows and cosmetic work for 3 years. 

What made you want to become a tattoo artist?

I have always been very artistic. I started messing around with friends and tattooing them for fun until it became something I wanted to do professionally. I’ve always loved tattoos.

Why did you decide to customize the shoes the way you did?

I had a great time. I chose to do my favorite designs I like to tattoo and draw. I went with a classic tattoo flash theme.

How was working on this project for you?

I had a good time! A lot has been going on and Deven and I have been slammed with work so it was really just fitting it all in. I got to do it with my man as well as my mentor so it was a blast.

Are you currently working on any other projects?

I’m doing a lot of stuff at the moment. I’ve been traveling back and forth to my home town in Texas working on some up and coming projects with different companies. 

How long have you been an artist for?

Since a child. I used art to escape from life’s troubles.

What’s your favorite tattoo that you have & why?

My neck! It was something I was very nervous to get for multiple reasons. I got forsaken in old English with webs across my entire throat/neck. It was done by my man, Deven Brodersen @Crazeekidtattoo . I was worried it would be one of my more painful ones but honestly it was a breeze. We got it done in one night and it was the first time we met. The whole experience was amazing. To be honest all my tattoos are my favorite so this was a hard one!
